Great with kids and other dogs

Crate trained, but would much rather sleep with his humans
Mostly potty trained, just needs a little guidance
Professional explorer! Plants, tables, and anything within reach are fair game.

Hercules
He is a 7 year old Chihuahua. He is very shy at first, but once comfortable he loves to cuddle. He is great with other dogs and cats but would LOVE to be the center of attention. He really doesn’t play with other dogs he prefers human love. He is house trained, kennel trained, loves to sleep under blankets.

Scruffy
SPECIAL ADOPTION REQUEST – MEET SCRUFFY!
Scruffy is only 1 year old, terrier mix, about 25 pounds, and he needs a very special kind of home!
Scruffy was found as a stray and turned over to two amazing ladies who have been helping him. Somewhere in his short little life, Scruffy developed a HUGE fear of women. We don't know what happened to him, and we may never know.
But here's what we DO know: Scruffy deserves a chance!
Here's what we're looking for:
MALE-ONLY HOME
NO CHILDREN Other dogs are okay!
Someone experienced with fearful dogs OR willing to follow a strict protocol to help him build trust.
A patient, calm, understanding home that will let Scruffy move at HIS pace.
PLEASE UNDERSTAND: Scruffy has NEVER shown aggression. He is simply scared. There is a BIG difference between a fearful dog and an aggressive dog.
We are NOT looking for someone who wants to rush him, force affection, or expect him to be a normal, happy-go-lucky puppy overnight.
We need someone who understands that trust is earned, not forced.
Scruffy is just a baby. At 6 months old, he has his whole life ahead of him. With the right person, patience, consistency, and love, we hope he can learn that the world isn't such a scary place.
Sometimes the dogs who need the most patience become the most rewarding companions.

Maeve
Maeve is a 4-year-old female French Bulldog, weighing about 30 pounds of pure love!
This sweet girl loves couch cuddles, being close to her humans, and living a calm, peaceful life.
Maeve came to us as a stray and appears to have been used for breeding. Now it's HER turn to be spoiled and loved!
Her perfect home:
Calm, loving environment
No large dogs
May do well with smaller, submissive dogs (meet-and-greet required)
No unfenced pools
Few or no stairs preferred
Spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped!
